The map is centered on the glacial outflow on the east side of the peak of Aconcagua and covers an area measuring approx. 24km east-west and 18km north-south. It has contours at 25m intervals, hill shading and spot heights for peaks. Colours denote landscape variations e.g. glaciers, moraine and low vegetation, and symbols show camps and huts. Latitude and longitude lines are drawn at 1’ intervals, and UTM intersections and margin ticks are at 2km intervals. Map legend is in English.
