The southern half of Mexico is one of the most popular travel destinations in the world. It contains 90% of all resort destinations in Mexico, and includes the heartland of cultural and historic Mexico. Whether one wishes to visit Puerto Vallarta, San Miguel de Allende, or Taxco, the western half of the country offers marvelous opportunities for exploration.
