The Viet people are friendly and the country is both scenic and safe. These are essential ingredients to having a successful touristic industry, and Vietnam certainly has worked very hard to create a travel experience that is enjoyable and affordable. This is an excellent map of the country, printed on plastic for durability, but also to cope with the high humidity experienced in Vietnam for much of the year. With this edition, we are trying something very different; the cover picture is of women in the salt pans, piling millions of crystals of salt from evaporation pans.
